History The practice was established in
1979 by the principal Anthony John Davis and has continued to
develop since then, undertaking a variety of projects in the
structural and civil engineering disciplines.
In the
first decade, practice growth and culture developed through
the competitive design and construct market, particularly in
industrial and commercial property and later in manufacturing
and commercial areas.

In response to market conditions in
the early the nineties, the practice has expanded overseas
with considerable success particularly in Malaysia and China
where over $200 million in projects are at various stages of
design and construction.
Practice
Development Through a pro-active approach to our
clients' needs, a combination of contract experience and a
competitive culture, the practice has developed particular
strengths which stand apart from conventional consultancy
services.
Our aim is to understand and appreciate our
clients' position and to provide an appropriate service that
meets all the necessary requirements for quality and standards
within practical and achievable
limits.

Export
Development The practice is committed to a long term
programme in the Asian region with particular concentration in
niche markets. Our experience over the past nine years in
Asia has clearly demonstrated significant opportunities in
industrial, commercial, tourism, housing and institutional
developments.
The major advantage for our overseas
clients is our exposure to over 20 years of construction in
Australia which has demanded innovation in design and
construction to meet the needs of an industry subject to
competitive market forces such as high interest rates,
inflation and labour issues, factors not always prevalent in
Asia.
