Located in Mulgrave, Victoria, Ensign Laboratories manufactures and distributes a range of products associated with personal, medical and household care. DNM have been involved in major expansion of the facility since 2004 including expansion of R&D laboratories, warehousing and manufacturing facilities.

Sigma Pharmaceutical

Located in Dandenong South, Victoria, this project was completed in 2007 and included the addition of 15,000 m² of new cleanroom, laboratory, office and warehouse space to accommodate the manufacturing capacities of three other Sigma pharmaceutical facilities. Woolworths Melbourne Liquor Distribution Centre

Constructed on a 20 ha site in Laverton Victoria this project includes approximately 70,000 m² distribution facilities and approximately 80,000 m² of external hard stand and car park pavement. The facility was completed in 2007 and operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

DNM scope included the design, documentation and observation of construction for all civil works including earthworks, hardstand pavements and stormwater drainage.

Orica Australia Gladstone Qld Chemical Manufacturing Facilities

This major facility is located in Yarwun, QLD and includes chemical plants for the manufacture of chlorine, sodium cyanide, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. The development of the facility commenced in 1987 with the construction of the Chloralkali plant. This was followed in 1989 by the Cyanide plant then in 1992 by the Ammonium Nitrate plant. A further Ammonium Nitrate plant was added in 2004/05.

DNM scope included design and documentation for civil, structural and general arrangement drawings for all plant buildings and structures up to and including the recent expansion of the Ammonium Nitrate manufacturing facility in 2004/05.

OneSteel Duragal Manufacturing Facility

This project was formally known as the Tubemakers Australia DuraGal Manufacturing plant and is located in Somerton, Victoria.

The plant has been constructed on a 105 ha site and consists of approximately 35,000 m² of buildings and approximately 30,000 m² of external roads and hardstand pavement including very heavy duty forklift pavement for the storage and handling of steel coil.

DNM scope included design, documentation and observation of construction for civil, structural, services coordination and general arrangement drawings as well as the design and documentation of a wetland and habitat protection/restoration system to cater for a total catchment area of 132 ha inclusive of adjoining residential land.

Located in Scoresby, Victoria, this project was completed in 1997 and includes the corporate head offices for Gillette Australia plus 16,000 m² of warehousing and distribution. DNM scope included design and documentation for civil, structural and general arrangement drawings.

Hallmark Cards

Located in Scoresby, Victoria, this project was completed in 1998 and includes over 16,500 m² of corporate office, warehouse and manufacturing for both Hallmark Cards and associated company Binney & Smith. K&S Freighters Victorian Transport Depot

This project has been constructed on a 23 ha site in Laverton and is the major Victorian transport depot for the K&S Freighters Corporation. The facility includes over 40,000 m² of warehouse, cross-dock, maintenance and administration building space and approximately 60,000 m² of external hardstand pavement including over 30,000 m² of container storage area. Stage 1 of the facility was completed in 2005 and Stage 2 in 2008.

DNM scope included the design, documentation and observation of construction for all civil and structural works including earthworks, hardstand pavements and stormwater.
