Bulla Dairy Foods, Colac

BullaBulla Dairy Foods have invested $7 million in a new milk separation plant at the company’s Colac Forest Street site. The 1,020 m2 processing plant will allow Bulla to produce its own raw high-fat cream, skim milk and whole milk for the company’s manufacturing plants in Colac and across Victoria.

DNM were engaged for general arrangement, structural and civil engineering design services consisting of closed building, canopy and open bunded area, including associated pipe bridge.

 


Orica Australia Gladstone QLD Chemical Manufacturing Facilities

Orica-GladstoneThis major facility is located in Yarwun, QLD and includes chemical plants for the manufacture of chlorine, sodium cyanide, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate. The development of the facility commenced in 1987 with the construction of the Chloralkali plant. This was followed in 1989 by the Cyanide plant then in 1992 by the Ammonium Nitrate plant. A further Ammonium Nitrate plant was added in 2004/05.

DNM scope included design and documentation for civil, structural and general arrangement drawings for all plant buildings and structures up to and including the recent expansion of the Ammonium Nitrate manufacturing facility in 2004/05.
